Friday, January 4 Annabel Lee and The Highwayman assessment


Coming up: Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday, January 9..(another copy of the handout below)
In class: Assessment on Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe and The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes.

Directions: take out your copy of the poems. 
Make sure you have a pen as a writing utensil
 Part 1: multiple choice handout. Respond to the questions.
Part 2. I'll put this on your desk, while you are working on the multiple choice.
           There are six short writing options about the poem. Choose 2 and respond. Read the directions carefully. Write the responses on the lined paper on your desk, beginning with an MLA heading.
This is due at the close of class. For those who receive extended time, I will collect these, and we need to make arrangements for you to have an extra 20 minutes.
